To contribute to reduced poverty and good governance by building the capacities of local government, educators, migrants and their families and other stakeholders in minimizing the social cost and maximizing the gains of migration to create jobs and economic opportunities
Assist LGUs and Other Stakeholders in Areas with High Concentration of OFWs to Set-up OFW / Migration Centers
Atikha assists selected LGUs with high concentration of OFWs to set up OFW / Migration Resource centers and develop programs and services for migrants and families left behind.
Support the Migration and Development Initiatives of Hometown Association, LGUs and Other Development Agencies
Atikha conducts Migration and Development fora to initiate discourse on migration and development and help forge partnership between the hometown associations, local government units and the various development partners in the communities.
Financial Literacy and Savings Mobilization Campaign
Atikha conducts financial literacy to OFWs, seafarers and the family left behind which guides them not only in financial management but also in family management.
School-Based Program in Addressing the Social Cost of Migration
Teachers Training on Setting up Programs for Children of Migrants Atikha provides an intensive 7 days training for teachers to be able to conduct the information, value formation and capacity building trainings for children of Migrants. Teachers Training manual was developed
