Trainer's Training on Migration Realities & Capacity Building for Teachers
This training ran for eight days: 4 days for Migration Realities and 4 days for Capacity Building. Atikha has developed the Training Manuals entitled "Children's Response to the Challenge of Migration" will guide the teachers and facilitators in conducting the activities of the seminar to the children.

Trainer's Training on Integrating Migration Issues in the Elementary & Secondary Curriculum.
This is a five-days training to capacitate the teachers in integrating migration issues in their lesson plans and school activities using the manual developed by Atikha entitled "ANG MIGRASYONG PILIPINO: Mga Kaugnay na Kahalagahan at Kagalingang Dapat Malinang sa Kabataan".

Training of Trainers on Financial Literacy & Addressing Barriers to Reintegration
This training guides trainers in conducting seminars on financial planning for migrants and families, which aims to provide hands-on experience on budgeting, goal-setting and planning. The training helps migrants and their families design their own concrete saving schemes and investment program to achieve their family's financial goals.

Financial Literacy Seminar-Training for OFWs, Seafarers & Families
This is a two-day seminar that provide knowledge and techniques on how to build-up savings, investing, planning, budgeting and goal setting.
It also includes lecture-discussion on the common family problems that drains the resources of migrants; sharing on the issues and concerns that affect the overseas Filipinos and their families; and ways of coping with their separation from their parents or loved-ones.

The workshops in this seminar enable the OFWs and their families to voice out their dreams in order to set their family's goals and thereby plan on how to achieve them together.

Summer Arts Workshop for Children
Atikha provides skills training for children of overseas workers and other children in the community thorugh the Likha, Katha, Sining Atikha Workshops. The training includes:
  • Facilitation & Speakers Training
  • Puppetry & Script Writing
  • Handmade Paper conversion
  • Handmade Accessories
  • Silk Screen & T-Shirt Printing
  • Card Making & Painting

    These workshops help the children discover their potentials, hone their talents and allow them to express themselves through arts. The techniques and knowledge they gained from these training gave the children the confidence to do better in school and in the community. Furthermore, the skills learned during the workshops enabled children to become young entrepreneurs.
