The Batang Atikha Savers Club was organized on August 2003. The club was borne out of an exchange of ideas among children of OFWs. A child member explained why they established the club: "We realized that we could do a lot to show our appreciation for our parents' work and sacrifices. We now understand that we have to value our money.

We used to be carefree, now we understand the value of discipline and saving money. That is why we did not have any second thought in joining the Batang Atikha Savers Club. We felt that we, members of the Batang Atikha Savers Club, are lucky because we have found the key to our success in the future. To date, there are 500 members of the club Fourteen chapters have already been established, 8 in Batangas and six in Laguna. Every year, BASC holds its Annual Congress.

You deposit an amount of at least five pesos every week.

When you need your money, please transact directly to the bank where your savings is deposited. Don't forget to bring your passbook, ID. Should you need assistance, please ask the help of BASC COORDINATOR in your school or you may call at the Atikha office.
