Support the Migration and Development Initiatives of Hometown Association, LGUs and Other Development Agencies

Atikha conducts Migration and Development fora to initiate discourse on migration and development and help forge partnership between the hometown associations, local government units and the various development partners in the communities.

Atikha in partnership with Filipino Women’s Council (FWC) and other migrant organizations assist in mobilizing and linking diaspora philanthropy to migration and development initiatives in the area that would create jobs and economic opportunities in the communities where the migrants are coming from.

ekoLIFE - Nurture Your Roots - HOMESTAY ECOTOUREkolife “Nurture Your Roots, Homestay Ecotour” is a social enterprise initiated by Atikha and other member organizations of the Philippine Consortium on Migration & Development, a network of NGOs, cooperatives and social enterprises. Overseas Filipinos interested to visit and support development initiatives in the provinces of Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Camiguin Islands, Ifugao, Camarines Norte, Albay, can link with Ekolife for a memorable and meaningful trip to the Philippines.

Coco Natur - Natural Health and Wellness ProductsCoco Natur is a fair trade social enterprise set-up through diaspora philanthropy and it is engaged in the manufacture of coconut based products such as virgin coconut oil, all natural soap, massage oil, lotion and moisturizer, geonet from coconut fiber, coconut jam and food products using natural coconut sweetener. Atikha assists in the technology transfer, sourcing and start-up capital equipments and marketing.
