MANILA, Philippines – Ayala Malls, the premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination, recognizes the importance of addressing the needs of Filipinos living and working overseas, and of their families. The Ayala Malls launched its VIPinoy program as homage to overseas Filipinos, and to make their visits to the Philippines more enjoyable.

Leading the recent launch of the program at Glorietta were Ayala Land chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala and president and CEO Antonino Aquino with guests of honor Vice President Jejomar Binay and Makati City Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay. Special guests were program partners from Globe: GM for Consumer Marketing Menchie Orlina, head, Outbound (International) Consumer Marketing Ricardo Sison and head of Product Management Alex Salud; BPI VP for Overseas Segment and Self-Service Banking Rally Jereza ; and from non-government associations who provide services to overseas Filipino families: ATIKHA, Batis Center for Women, IDEALS (Initiatives for Dialogue and Empowerment Through Alternative Legal Services), PHILCOMDEV (Philippine Consortium on Migration and Development ); award-winning book authors Bimbo Papasin and 11-year-old Xynia Guarin, who gave copies of their books to Zobel de Ayala and Aquino.

The VIPinoy Lounge will also sell the book of Xynia Guarin, a BASC member who won in the Savings Consciousness Category of Atikha's Story Writing Contest.

The VIPinoy program offers unparalleled exclusive services and conveniences to overseas Filipinos and their families. One of the attractive perks the program offers is access to the VIPinoy lounge, which features free Internet and video conferencing services, currency exchange and remittance service, information on investment and business opportunities, property consultation, financial management, travel and tour inquiries. All these, plus access to Ayala Malls A card privileges such as discounts and freebies at participating mall establishments and special invitations and reserved seats to shows and events make shopping and dining at the Ayala Malls truly more rewarding.

Overseas Filipinos 21 years old and above presently employed overseas, or Filipinos residing overseas/Balikbayans can avail themselves of the VIPinoy card. Immediate family (spouse and children) can apply on behalf of the overseas Filipino family member.

There are two ways to apply: on-site at any Ayala Malls concierge, VIPinoy Lounge concierge and Ayala-managed Malls customer service booth; or online through http://ayalamallsvipinoy.com.ph.
